I can think, I can think…

Hmm, a dyslexic’s “The Little Train That Could”…how special.

This describes my brain really well right now though. The fever/exhaustion/emotional crash/allergies absolutely murdered me this week. I’m taking dyslexia, typing failures, personal injury and lack of coherency to a new personal high. Which is really, really sad. (I got all guilty-feeling about not posting a blog for a couple of days. I THINK that this was yesterday. Possibly. Whatever day it was, further reflection led me to the realization that I’d actually posted a blog…that morning. Oops.)

A couple of things though, before I walk into another wlal. (See what I did there? No? That’s ok. It’s funny in my head.)

I’m playing with ideas for Little Deaths right now. The main goal we have is to drum up submissions. Once we get those going, we can work on the other things. Submissions are the main part at the moment. To that end, I’m thinking of implementing broad ‘themes’. Stuff that would make a coherent collection, in a sense.

I’ll be driving up to Raleigh for the launch of Bull Spec. Some GREAT looking stuff! If you are in the area, the launch party is open-invitation, from what I hear!

Speaking of open invitation? If you are in the Charlotte area and love beautiful underground music, mark off April 30 and come with me to see Faith and the Muse play. I mean, holy hell, this is a talented band! And Charlotte sucks for underground musicians, so let’s give them a warm welcome!

That’s all for tonight, folks. I’m pretty sure I left the cat in the crockpot and hung the dragon out to dry. Good night!

  1. Awesome to hear you’re coming! But if you get to Raleigh you’ve passed Durham and therefore have gone too far! 🙂

It’s all NC…what’s the problem? Oh, other people. That’s right.

(Yeah, we can see how often I make it north of Charlotte…)
